Human hair is both intimate and enduring. It grows alongside us, bears traces of our daily lives, and remains after the body is gone. In Human Hair Sweater, hair is neither an ornament nor a relic. It becomes a fibre, a record and a second skin.

Human Hair Sweater is a sculptural installation made from human hair. By transforming hair into a sweater, I turn a familiar domestic object into something tender, unsettling and deeply personal. A garment usually associated with warmth, care and protection becomes a fragile archive of human presence.

The work reflects on survival, memory and sustainability. It holds questions of corporeality, identity, loss, ecology and domesticity. It can be read both seriously and ironically: as an object that appears to offer comfort, yet confronts us with the vulnerability and impermanence of the body.
